All praises are due to Allah alone. And peace and blessing are due upon the seal of his prophets Muhammad.

Who is this app for?

This app is for intermediate – advanced learners of the Arabic language. The app is not for beginners. To benefit from this app you should already know all of the Arabic letters along with their pronunciations. Ideally, you should know around 50 vocabulary words and have a clear understanding of how nouns, adjectives and verbs are represented in Arabic.

Our approach

When learning a language, a person can take one of two routes. They can either commit to memorizing everyday phrases. This method is very superficial and is really only suitable for tourists passing through a foreign land looking to equip themselves with the bare minimum needed to interact with others. The other approach is that the person becomes familiar with the fundamental components of the language and seeks to attain some efficiency / mastery with them so that they can formulate sentences just as clearly and effortlessly as they would in their native language.

This app, in contrast to many other language apps, has been designed to support the latter case. Since we only focus on the Arabic language, we can present material in a way that apps who support many other languages cannot.

Our approach mimics a natural approach to mastering a language. It involves a constant cycle of digesting input (the reading and learning) and crafting some type of output (the process of applying or application)

The Developer

The app was developed by someone in need of Allah, Abdush Shakur Abu Ali, an American muslim revert who was guided to Islam in 2007. He learned and taught the Arabic language to a few locals. This app’s approach to learning employs a similar approach that he found benefit in.
